I received the king of hearts card. I chose to draw something biblical, because when I think of "King of Hearts" I think of Jesus. I depicted the incident where Thomas doubts. He explains that he won't believe that Jesus is alive again unless he can feel his wounds for himself. Jesus shows up and Thomas declares that Jesus is King and believes in his heart that Jesus died for him. I had real trouble drawing the other hands. Jesus' hand was awesome! I loved it, but the others weren't turning out so amazing. So I continued to work on it and finally decided that I had reached a nice look to them. I, also, was afraid that when it came to painting the picture that paint would ruin the pencil drawn hands. I lightly went over the hands with mod-podge to preserve them. Then I painted with pink, blue and green every where else. I am happy with my picture. I wish that it could have been more spectacular, but it is what it is and I like it. I was hoping that somehow it would turn out magical, but I am not very good with paint and it wasn't what I had visioned. Either way, I do like how it looks.
